Frequently asked questions
What happens if the XML is not valid?
You get a message with the approximate line of the problem. Untick “Format and check the XML” to print the file exactly as it is.
Are comments and CDATA kept?
Yes. Comments, CDATA sections and processing instructions stay in the output, indented with the rest.
Can I print e-invoices or sitemaps?
Yes. Any XML works, including e-invoices, sitemaps, RSS feeds and configuration files.
Does it show the XML as a styled document?
No. It prints the XML source, neatly indented. Styling with XSLT is not applied.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser, so your files stay on your device and are never sent anywhere. It even works with the internet switched off.
