Frequently asked questions

Does the PDF stay vector?

Yes. Shapes, lines and text are drawn as vector paths in the PDF, so they stay sharp at any zoom level and print cleanly at any size.

What if my SVG doesn’t look right?

Some advanced effects, such as certain filters, can’t be drawn as vectors. Turn on “Draw as an image instead of vector shapes” under “More options” for an exact copy.

Does text in other languages work?

Latin letters stay as vector text. For other scripts, like Hindi, the SVG is drawn as a sharp image so every letter appears correctly.

Are linked images or fonts loaded from the internet?

No. Nothing is fetched from outside your device. Images embedded inside the SVG are kept, while links to outside files are left out.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. This tool runs entirely in your browser, so your files stay on your device and are never sent anywhere. It even works with the internet switched off.
