What is a CBZ file?
A ZIP archive of page images in reading order. Comic apps such as CDisplayEx, YACReader, Panels and Kavita open it page by page.
Is reading direction saved for manga?
Yes. Tick “Read right to left” and the archive includes a ComicInfo.xml file that tells reader apps to turn pages the manga way.
Why is the CBZ larger than the PDF?
PDFs can store drawings as compact vectors, while a CBZ holds one picture per page. Choose a smaller image size or quality to reduce it.
Can I convert a CBZ back to PDF?
Unzip it, then add the page images to Images to PDF. They become one page each, in order.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
