Frequently asked questions

Are numbers saved as numbers?

Yes. Plain numbers such as 1250.50 or 1,250.50 become real numbers you can sum. Codes with leading zeros, like 00123, stay as text.

Does it work with bank statements?

Yes, with statements downloaded as PDF from online banking. Photographed or scanned statements need OCR first.

What about merged cells and text on several lines?

Cells that wrap onto a second line stay in the same table, but may land in their own row. A quick tidy in Excel fixes it.

Is my statement sent anywhere?

No. The table is read and the spreadsheet is built inside your browser, so sensitive financial documents never leave your device.

Is it free, and are there limits?

It is currently free, with no sign-up, no daily limit on files and no watermark added to your results.
