Is the page text affected?
No. Only the annotations you choose are removed. The page content stays exactly as it was.
How do I keep highlights but drop comments?
Tick only “Comments and sticky notes” and leave the others unticked.
What happens to filled-in form fields?
Removing form fields deletes them along with what was typed. To keep the answers as plain text on the page, use Flatten PDF instead.
Why remove links?
Before sharing or printing, removing links stops accidental clicks and hides where they point.
