Why add a cream background?
Many people find dark text on a warm, soft colour easier to read for long periods than on bright white.
Why doesn’t the colour show on some pages?
Scanned pages and some designed pages already paint their own white background over the whole page, which covers the new colour.
Does the text stay sharp?
Yes. The colour is added behind the existing content, which is not changed at all.
Can I colour only some pages?
Yes. Under “More options”, enter the pages, for example 1 for a cover.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser, so your files stay on your device and are never sent anywhere. It even works with the internet switched off.
