How are headings detected?
From the text size and weight. Large text becomes # headings, smaller titles become ## or ###, and normal text becomes paragraphs.
Can I paste the result into Notion, Obsidian or GitHub?
Yes. The output is standard Markdown that these apps, wikis and chat tools understand.
Are tables and images included?
Images are left out, and tables come through as plain lines of text. To get tables as data, use PDF to Excel.
Can I convert a scanned PDF to Markdown?
Run it through the OCR tool first to add a text layer, then convert the new PDF here.
