Frequently asked questions

Is this a legal signature?

It adds a visual signature, which many everyday documents accept. It is not a certificate-based digital signature.

Can I use a photo of my signature on paper?

Yes. Choose “Upload”; the white paper background is removed so only the ink is placed on the page.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. This tool runs entirely in your browser, so your files stay on your device and are never sent anywhere. It even works with the internet switched off.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. It works in Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox on Android phones, iPhones, tablets and computers. Very large files may need a computer, because phones have less memory.
