Where does the title appear?
In the browser tab and the title bar of most PDF readers, and often in search results, instead of the file name.
Can I change the creation date?
Yes. Set any date and time, or clear it. “Modified” is set to now by default, which you can switch off.
What is XMP metadata?
A second, more detailed copy of the properties that some files carry. It is removed when you save so readers don’t show the old values.
How do I remove all metadata instead?
Use Remove metadata, which clears every property and the XMP copy in one step.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
