Frequently asked questions

Can I change the order of the files before merging?

Yes. Drag any file up or down the list, or use its arrow buttons. The merged PDF follows the order shown, top to bottom.

Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge?

There is no fixed limit. Dozens of files work fine; the practical limit is the memory of your device.

What happens to password-protected PDFs?

You are asked for the password, the file is unlocked on your device, and it is then merged like any other PDF.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. This tool runs entirely in your browser, so your files stay on your device and are never sent anywhere. It even works with the internet switched off.

Is it free, and are there limits?

It is currently free, with no sign-up, no daily limit on files and no watermark added to your results.
